Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club opened in March 2008 and has proved a great success, serving over 2000 breakfasts in the first year to children attending the club. Since then the club has continued to grow and now provides before school care for more than 70 children each week.

Opening from 7.40am, breakfast is served until 8.20am. Once children have been signed in by their parent / carer they can enjoy breakfast with their friends before engaging in one of the many activities on offer. The club runs until 8.45am when the children are taken to their class teacher for registration at the start of the school day.

We offer a healthy breakfast choice including

• Cereals
• Toast and spreads
• Yoghurts
• Fruit
• Drinks available include milk, fruit juice or water

(Allergies and food intolerances will be catered for following discussion with parents/carers)

A large selection of games and activities are available for the children’s use during club times.

There is a daily charge of £6.25 per child (from September 2023), per session to be booked and paid for in advance.

There is a registration fee of £10 per family. This is a one-off fee for registering your child or children in wrap around care at Tannery Drift First School.

A fun way to start the day!

The team at the Breakfast Club welcome children to play before school. Children will be cared for during the session by our trained staff.

We offer a large selection of board games, Lego, puzzles and colouring. Children are taken straight to class for registration.

There is a charge of £2.25 per child per session (from September 2023). To request a place please contact the school office.
