Some of our Year 2 children enjoyed a fantastic visit to the school wildlife area this week, where they became nature detectives in search of autumn leaves. Armed with identification guides, the children carefully observed, collected and compared different leaves, learning how to recognise them by their shape, size and colour.

The children were excited to discover the beautiful seasonal changes taking place around them and showed excellent teamwork and curiosity throughout the activity. It was a wonderful opportunity to develop their scientific observation skills while enjoying the outdoors and appreciating the natural world around our school. Well done, Year 2!
