The races were all about enjoyment rather than competition, as the children did their best to balance their pancakes whilst running.  Their Year 4 buddies came to watch and provide encouragement, sharing in the fun.  The event highlighted the lovely friendships which have grown between the year groups, with the older children taking real pride in supporting their younger buddies.
