On Friday morning, eight Year 2 children attended an athletics meeting, hosted by St. Edmund's Prep School.

The aim of the morning was to provide an opportunity to take part in a sporting event against other schools while working towards personal bests across a range of track and field disciplines. The children embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, had lots of fun and represented the school superbly. We were especially delighted to win the final event of the morning, an extremely exciting 8 x 50m relay, which secured enough points for us to win the overall competition.

Teachers at St. Edmund's Prep commented on how impressed they were with the children's sportsmanship and how well they modelled the School Games Values.
